 Dying poison-dart frog (Dendrobates tinctorius), a poison-arrow frog. Bold col ors warn predators that eating poison-arrow frogs might prove disagreeable if n ot fatal. This specimen has altered the colors of his body and legs, and added spots to the latter, indicating that it is a different geographical morph. (See picture 294 for comparison.) |
